What a great bike shop! Convenient to the main train station and to the last stop of the 300 bus from Schiphol. We made a reservation online before leaving home, and when we got to Haarlem earlier than expected, we were able to pick up the bikes early (for a modest extra charge) and get out there on a nice afternoon. Wat een service bij Green Bikes op de Kruisweg in Haarlem. Deze week 2x geweest met een lege band. Zojuist met een ventiel dat afgebroken was waardoor de band van mn E-bike leegliep. En hoewel er maar 1 medewerker was, heeft ie net zo lang gezocht naar een vervangend ventiel waardoor ik weer kan fietsen. En dat alles als Service. Dank je wel!

Those guys are awesome! I made a mistake with my reservation and showed up 1 hour before closing. Someone was kind enough to come back to the store that evening so we could return the bikes after hours. We had the best time exploring the national forest.

Nice personnel, decent price for renting, can keep the bike even after the shop closes for the day, i.e. when renting for 4 days, you really have the bike for the entire 4 days and not just shop's business hours like in other places.

VERY good experience with Green Bikes.  We had a glorious time biking to/in National Park Zuid Kennemerland.  Customer service was clear and informative.  They are busy with their work, but also ready to help you.  MUST have a physical Identification card, such as a passport or driver's license (can be from any country), to rent a bike, but they only take a picture of it, they don't require you to leave it with them.  Highly recommend paying for the e-bikes as it is so much more fun (not to mention so much easier) than regular city bikes, especially if you bike to the National Park.
